Where To
Where To is a collaborative travel itinerary app for travel enthusiasts. It allows the users to keep all their trip details in one place, provides personalized travel suggestions and provides real-time travel assistance through AI integration.

PROBLEM STATEMENT
Travel planning can be frustrating sometimes. To identify the pain points that come with travel planning, I spoke to some travel enthusiasts for my primary research.
USER RESEARCH AND PERSONA
I conducted video call interviews for primary research among my target audience which include travel enthusiasts and frequent travelers between ages 18-50.
Based on my research, I created two distinct personas. This helped me understand who I was primarily designing for.

UI TOOLKIT
As a travel app, the UI is mainly black and white as the travel photographs are the main hero. Lime green is used as an accent color to provide a touch of friendliness. The main text is set in a rounded sans serif for a clean and modern feel.

I came up with three main user stories based on my research. This helped me narrow down on people’s aspirations and expectations and I could design my screens around the stories.

“As someone who always travels with friends, I want a collaborative tool where all travelers can view all booking details and the itinerary, so that everyone is always up to date with the plans.”

‘‘As a frequent traveler, I want to get personalized suggestions via AI based on my interests and travel history, so that I spend less time browsing through travel sites.’’
Users can also discover and add a place of their interest to an itinerary.
